On November 30, the large-scale cultural and gastronomic project "Russian Breakfast" concluded. Seven AZIMUT Hotels participated. For two months, hotel guests were able to sample a unique morning menu, designed with local regional flavors in mind.

AZIMUT City Hotel Smolenskaya Moscow, AZIMUT Park Hotel Prometheus Nebug, AZIMUT Park Hotel Volga, AZIMUT Park Hotel Freestyle Rosa Khutor, AZIMUT City Hotel Astrakhan, AZIMUT City Hotel St. Petersburg, and AZIMUT Hotel Yaroslavl participated in the project, each developing five colorful dishes to complement the standard breakfast menu. In total, more than 200 restaurateurs and hoteliers participated in the "Russian Breakfast" project, competing in three categories.

At the end of the festival, the AZIMUT City Hotel Smolenskaya Moscow won the "Most Original Russian Breakfast" category. The main criteria for choosing the winner were the uniqueness of the menu and the dishes' regional origin, as well as the number of sales over the entire festival period. The Moscow hotel's morning menu featured five dishes created by AZIMUT Hotels brand chef Sergey Bortsov: Guryev porridge with walnuts and wild berries, manna pudding with pine cone jam and cloudberries, homemade yogurt with cranberries and raspberry crumbles, omelet with porcini mushrooms, green salad, and cheese, and mushroom pie made from shortcrust pastry with Shchuchansky cheese.

Sergey Bortsov, Brand Chef, AZIMUT Hotels:

"Breakfast at a hotel can often tell you as much about a city and its residents as a guidebook. Since AZIMUT Hotels' hotels and resorts are located from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, it's crucial for us to create authentic gastronomic journeys for our valued guests. Winning the "Most Original Russian Breakfast" award is a valuable recognition for the company. We are pleased that travelers who choose AZIMUT Hotels can have a unique experience of discovering local cuisine and discovering Russia's regions in a new way."
