Over the past few years, Tula has been transformed: a fashionable embankment was built here near the walls of the Tula Kremlin, one of the oldest streets in the center was restored, a museum quarter and the Iskra city art clusters were opened; and "Octave".

Tula today — one of the most attractive weekend travel destinations, just two hours from Moscow.
Most of the city's attractions are within walking distance from AZIMUT City Hotel Tula 4*.

Kazan embankment

2 minutes

I can't believe that a few years ago this area was fenced off and used as a dump. Now there is a multi-level public space with a landscape park, an amphitheater, walking areas, cafes, restaurants, children's and sports grounds. The bed of the Upa River was cleared of debris, filled with clean water and made a convenient access to it, turning the embankment into a unique city meeting and leisure place.

Tula Kremlin

6 minutes

Fortress of the 17th century with towers — the oldest building of the city and its calling card — very harmoniously adjacent to the modern Kazanskaya embankment. Fans of antiquity and Russian architecture are advised to look behind the walls of the Kremlin and take a tour. Inside: a well-groomed, walkable area, two cathedrals — Uspensky (mid-18th century) and Bogoyavlensky (mid-19th century) and the exhibition and museum complex, where exhibitions and excursions are held.

Metallist Street and the Museum Quarter

4 minutes

In the 18th century, Metallistov Street was called Pyatnitskaya Street, it was paved with cobblestones and built up with rich merchant houses. Now one of the oldest streets in the city has been restored, turned into a pedestrian street and, together with the houses — monuments of architecture of the late XVIII – early 19th century forms the Museum Quarter.

Art Clusters «Iskra»

2 minutes

"Iskra" — urban space in the historic center near the Museumsquartier with trendy summer venues and shops. Exhibitions, festivals and master classes are regularly held here.

Art Clusters «Octave»

16 minutes

Oktava Creative Industrial Cluster is a creative space in the very heart of the city. Here, you can visit contemporary art exhibitions, take part in workshops, or gain new skills at the Higher Technical School. You can also enjoy festivals with the latest music, relax with a book in a modern library, or explore the history of Russian and Tula industry at the multimedia Museum of the Machine Tool.

Tula State Museum of Weapons

9 minutes

A modern museum with an extensive collection of weapons from cold weapons to small arms. The exposition occupies five floors: on the first — old weapons (starting from the XIV century), on the upper — modern. A lot of interactive, holographic stands, documentaries. Inspection can take several hours, we recommend taking a tour to get the maximum benefit, pleasure and not get lost.
