The heart of the InnoCenter is formed by Technopark and Skoltech – the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, established in 2011 with the participation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Technopark provides comprehensive support for innovative startups, and the institute trains master's and doctoral students in information technology, energy, biomedicine, the space industry, and new manufacturing technologies.
The InnoCenter is a laboratory of sorts, testing advanced materials and technologies. Stylish and unusual buildings consume almost a third less electricity and heat thanks to various advanced solutions, and driverless cars and cleaning robots can be found on the streets.
The new AZIMUT Hotel Skolkovo Moscow, located on Malevich Street, near a green park with a pond, just 150 meters from Skoltech International University, includes three hotel buildings with 224 rooms for single and double occupancy, including rooms for people with disabilities.
