Russia’s largest hotel chain, AZIMUT Hotels, is expanding its geographic footprint and entering the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra. An AZIMUT Hotel will open in central Kogalym later this year.
Federal hotel operator AZIMUT Hotels is taking over the management of Kogalym Hotel and will carry out a comprehensive renovation. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, just 300 meters from the city administration building. Following the renovation, the property will operate under the AZIMUT brand as a four-star hotel. The property currently offers 77 rooms across various categories. As part of the modernization, a new concept will be developed, while the room inventory, facilities and public areas will be upgraded.
Following the renovation, the hotel will feature a restaurant area, a lobby bar and a fitness center, as well as conference rooms for business and corporate events. The property will thus become one of the city’s key destinations, catering both to business travelers visiting Kogalym and to participants in local events.
The arrival of a major federal hotel operator will strengthen the city’s hospitality infrastructure and offer guests a modern level of service in line with AZIMUT Hotels standards.
