On August 14, the More Than You Can Foundation for the Development of Inclusion in Sport celebrates its eighth anniversary. For eight years, the foundation has been helping people with different physical abilities take part in sports, train, compete and become part of a large inclusive community. The foundation’s beneficiaries include people with cerebral palsy, neurological conditions and musculoskeletal injuries.

The foundation’s mission is to make sports accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical condition or diagnosis. To achieve this, More Than You Can organizes regular adaptive training sessions, provides professional rehabilitation support, purchases and repairs specialized racing wheelchairs, and helps beneficiaries take part in mass races and sporting events. An important part of the foundation’s work is creating an inclusive environment where people with and without disabilities can train and socialize as equals.

AZIMUT Hotels supports the More Than You Can Foundation as part of its annual charitable campaign, “AZIMUT Lights Up Hearts.” Guests of the chain can donate their accumulated AZIMUT Bonus points to the foundation. These points help provide accommodation for the foundation’s beneficiaries at AZIMUT Hotels and resorts, as well as support training sessions, conferences and other events.

Over the past eight years, More Than You Can has grown into a vibrant sports community bringing together beneficiaries, volunteers, coaches and partners. In 2025 alone, the foundation supported more than 380 athletes across Russia, while over 900 volunteers joined its efforts. During the year, 447 training sessions were held, beneficiaries took part in 54 sporting events, and the foundation organized two charity races of its own. In addition, 10 specialized tandem racing wheelchairs were produced.

Behind these figures are real stories of people who push their own boundaries every day, proving that possibilities extend far beyond any diagnosis or stereotype. Sport helps them become more independent, find friends and like-minded people, set goals and achieve them.

Congratulations to the More Than You Can Foundation team on its eighth anniversary! We wish you many new sporting victories, a strong team, plenty of energy, and even more people for whom sport becomes an opportunity to discover that they are capable of more than they ever expected.
