Russian hotel chain AZIMUT Hotels hosted a delegation from the Republican Union of Tourism Industry of Belarus (RUTI). The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experience and best practices in hospitality between professionals from the two countries.
A business meeting between representatives of Russia’s largest hotel operator, AZIMUT Hotels, and members of RUTI was held in Moscow. The event focused on sharing knowledge and experience in hotel business management.
During their visit, the Belarusian colleagues toured one of the chain’s first Moscow properties, AZIMUT City Hotel Olympic, where they learned about the organization of food and beverage operations and explored the congress center, which features 16 conference rooms ranging from 37 to 650 sq. m. The guests also learned about AZIMUT Hotels’ operational processes, the principles behind scaling the chain and the specifics of operating in the Russian market. The program included a hotel tour, discussions of management practices and chain standards, as well as approaches to handling guest feedback.
The Union of the Tourism Industry of Belarus brings together numerous businesses in the hotel and restaurant sectors. AZIMUT Hotels is Russia’s largest hotel chain, which has grown over 19 years to 70 hotels and sanatoriums with a total room inventory of more than 12,500 rooms across Russia. This scale and experience make the exchange of knowledge particularly valuable and timely.
