The Association for Health Tourism and Corporate Health has announced the results of its 11th annual “Top 100 Russian Health Resorts” investment attractiveness ranking for 2025. For the fourth consecutive year, the sanatoriums within AZIMUT Hotels, Russia’s largest hotel chain, have reaffirmed their leading position in the country’s health and wellness resort market. The ranking was compiled based on key economic and financial performance indicators of health and wellness complexes. The assessment took into account industry-specific and financial performance data from more than 350 companies.

Sanatoriums are one of the promising areas of development for AZIMUT Hotels. Over the past four years, the company has invested more than RUB 1.5 billion in modernizing six properties. In 2025, a comprehensive renovation of AZIMUT Health Ivushka sanatorium in Sochi was completed. Previously, the room inventory at Transsib Sanatorium in Belokurikha (Altai Krai) was renovated, 23 additional rooms were completed at AZIMUT Health Aquamarine in Anapa, and an additional building was constructed at Dolina Narzanov Sanatorium in Nalchik. The first premium sanatorium and hotel complex with 220 rooms is currently under active construction in Belokurikha, next to Radon Treatment Center No. 1, a regional cultural heritage site.

The chain’s sanatoriums are equipped with more than 2,500 units of modern medical equipment. This extensive medical and technical base makes it possible to develop and update health recovery programs tailored to both long and short stays. In 2025, more than 220,000 people used the sanatorium services offered by AZIMUT Hotels.

Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels:
