Transsib Sanatorium, part of the AZIMUT Hotels chain and located in the resort town of Belokurikha in Russia’s Altai Krai, has become the first property in Russia to receive China Friendly status. Experts from Roskachestvo — Tourism, an accredited certification body, confirmed that the property has been adapted to provide a comfortable stay for Chinese tourists and takes into account their cultural and service preferences. Key criteria include the organization of the room inventory, dining arrangements, and the ability to serve guests in English or Chinese.
Several AZIMUT Hotels properties have already been standardized to welcome Chinese travelers, and applying this experience to a sanatorium represents a new step in the development of the service offering. The China Friendly certification of Transsib Sanatorium creates new opportunities for the development of inbound health and wellness tourism.
Transsib specializes in general wellness programs, dermatological treatment, as well as programs focused on supporting women’s and men’s health.
