Primorsky Krai is now home to the first hotel certified under the China Friendly standard. Experts from the accredited certification body Roskachestvo — Tourism have confirmed that the service quality at AZIMUT City Hotel Vladivostok meets the most demanding expectations of Chinese travelers.
Mandatory criteria under the standard include adapting the room inventory, offering a menu that takes guests’ national preferences into account, and providing service in English or Chinese. The hotel has designated rooms for guests from China, who can choose between standard service and specialized China Friendly service for an additional fee.
Undergoing certification through Roskachestvo’s designated certification body means that the hotel has consciously taken on enhanced commitments to Chinese guests by successfully completing a rigorous audit. This fundamentally distinguishes certified properties from other accommodation facilities that have not undergone the relevant assessment. The presence of a Roskachestvo certificate, entered in the Russian Federal Accreditation Service registry, helps ensure that guests from China do not encounter service that falls short of their expectations due to cultural differences or a lack of necessary infrastructure.
For AZIMUT Hotels, this step is a natural continuation of its strategy to develop international service standards. AZIMUT hotels in Tula, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk have previously received the same certification. A number of other properties are currently undergoing the certification process, further expanding the geographic reach of the brand’s certified hotels. Cooperation with Roskachestvo under the China Friendly program is part of the chain’s efforts to create a comfortable environment for international guests and help increase the flow of tourists from China to destinations across Russia.
