In the very heart of Penza, on Kirova Street, there is a unique place - the Museum of one painting named after G. V. Myasnikov.
This museum is a branch of the Penza Regional Art Gallery named after K. A. Savitsky and is the only museum in the world where only one work of art is displayed.
Features of the One-Picture Museum
The Museum of One Painting is a unique cultural project focused on the deep study and perception of a single work of art. Each exhibition is dedicated to one carefully selected picture, which becomes the center of attention for a certain period. Visitors can learn the history, context, and meaning of the work through lectures, workshops, and thematic events.
