Lake Tuzluchnoe is the oldest of the Sol-Iletsk lakes. The accumulated mud layer reaches 2 meters with a total depth of less than 4 meters. The lake is classified as a mud-brine lake, containing both therapeutic mud and brine (healing brine). The water's mineralization is 65-180 g/l.

Biological processes are continuously ongoing in the bottom sediments, so the water in the lake is very warm, and the temperature of the mud at a depth of 10-15 centimeters reaches 50-60 degrees. The mud contains iron sulfide, silicic acid, tiny clay particles, as well as hormone-like substances and biogenic stimulants.

Healing properties of the mud:

  • Suppresses the growth of pathogenic microorganisms.
  • Heals scars and ulcers.
  • Promotes skin regeneration.
  • Has a cosmetic effect.
  • Reduces pain.
  • Improves joint condition.
  • Has a beneficial effect on the reproductive system.

Doctors recommend taking baths in the lake no more than once every two days for 20 minutes. Mud should not be applied to the chest area, nor should airtight materials be placed over the mud mask. The healing properties of the mud only last for 12 hours, so there is no point in taking it with you as a reserve.

It's best to start exploring the Sol-Iletsk lakes with the less salty Big and Small City Lakes. We also invite you to visit Razval - the largest and saltiest of the Sol-Iletsk lakes, as well as the mud lakes Dunino and Golodnye Voronki.
