Among the attractions of Abakan are two unique parks, which, according to many, are worthy of inclusion in the list of the seven wonders of Khakassia. Although they are quite small in size, once you find yourself in these heavenly places, you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and feel joy and peace. With the help of skillfully selected plants, which amaze with a variety of shapes, lines, and colors, many interesting locations have been created here.

Dream Gardens

Kati Pereshkrestchenko St., 11.

Dream Gardens Park opened in Abakan in 2007. Its one-hectare area houses 12 gardens, each with a different atmosphere but in perfect harmony: the exotic Japanese Garden and the cozy Rural Garden, the geometrically designed Lion Garden and the romantic Newlyweds' Garden... Here, in the city center, you can suddenly find yourself on an island of wild nature and relax by the quiet Crane Lake. Dream Gardens are beautiful at any time of year. In the spring, you can admire the cherry blossoms, and in the winter, enjoy the slides and admire the ice sculptures. And a special treat – Take a stroll through the park in the evening, when, thanks to the artful lighting, everything here is magically transformed.

Inspiration Park

Sovetskaya Street, 51.

The Inspiration Landscape Park opened in 2011 and is located in the city center. It is slightly smaller than the Dream Gardens, but is just as rich in flora and diverse in its locations. Among the park's attractions are the Lovers' Gazebo and the Fountain of Wishes, a water mill and a pond with colorful koi carp, a children's playground, and wooden swings perfect for daydreaming. Among the park's plants are some not typically found in these latitudes: Amur cork tree and junipers, arborvitaes and chokeberries, and unusual varieties of maple. Here you can find inspiration for decorating your own country property. Seeing such beauty and harmony makes you want to see more of it around you.
