From September 1, 2026, AZIMUT Hotel Nizhny Novgorod allows citizens of the Russian Federation to check in using a Digital ID in the MAX messenger.

To do this, you will need a verified photo. It can be taken if you have registered biometrics, a valid foreign passport, or a driver’s license.

How does it work for you?

1. Before your trip, make sure that Digital ID is set up and active in the MAX messenger.

2. When checking into the hotel, open your Digital ID.

3. Show the QR code of your passport on the screen to the receptionist, and then confirm the data with a biometric photo — it will be scanned via Goskan.

4. Your identity has been confirmed, you can receive the keys.

The service is available to Russian citizens only. Foreign citizens must present original documents in paper form.

For children: if the child is under 14 years old, the parent’s profile must include the birth certificate data.

If the child is traveling alone (14–18 years old), they can use their Digital ID, but written consent from the parents will be required to check into the hotel.

If for some reason the app doesn’t work and there is no paper copy of the identity document, the hotel has the right to refuse check‑in.
